Whether you are joining us for movement, infrared heat, lymphatic sculpting, or your child’s first Mini MUSE class, this page is your gentle guide to arriving prepared, relaxed, and fully supported.
At MUSE, we believe preparation creates ease. - Ease creates presence. - And presence is where transformation begins.
Please take a moment to read through the guidance relevant to your visit.
Before You Arrive - First time at MUSE

If this will be your first booking at MUSE, It is completely normal to feel unsure stepping into a new space.
Our intention is that within moments you feel grounded and held.
There is no expectation to perform. - Only an invitation to arrive.
Location
The studio is a hidden sanctuary located next to & behind Dunkley’s garage. Please walk through the metal gates and you’ll find the MUSE Wellness Club on the left.
Parking
Free parking is available nearby. Please allow a little extra time during school hours. - IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please do not park on the grounds of Dunkley’s Garage, in front of or within the metal gates leading to the studio.
Arrival
Please arrive 5 minutes before your session. This allows you to settle your nervous system and transition from the outside world into the calm of the studio.
Equipment
To make your experience as relaxing and easy as possible, all equipment is provided at the studio, including mats. All you need is a bottle of water to stay hydrated. We are a no-shoe studio apart from our MUSE PUMP class where trainers are needed for safety.
Studio Energy
MUSE is a sensory-aware environment. We move with intention, speak with respect, and honour the space as a shared sanctuary.
Mobile Phones
We kindly ask that phones are silenced and if possible, kept off the studio floor.
Movement at MUSE
Whether you are joining Pilates, Yoga, MUSE Pump or a Stretch & Length, Wear clothing you can move and breathe in.
Grip socks are recommended
All levels are welcome. - You are encouraged to work at your edge, not beyond it - We teach from acceptance, not perfection.
If you are pregnant, postnatal, returning from injury, or managing a condition — please inform MUSE/your teacher before class begins.
Infrared Sauna at MUSE

Our private infrared suite is designed for deep restoration, circulation support, and gentle detoxification.
Before Your Sauna
Arrive well hydrated.
Avoid alcohol beforehand.
Eat lightly if needed, but avoid heavy meals.
Please inform us of any medical conditions.
What to Bring
IMPORTANT - 2x towels - 1 to sit on and 1 to wipe with during sauna
Water bottle
Comfortable clothing for after
During
You remain in control of the heat and duration. We recommend listening to your body rather than pushing through discomfort.
After
Continue hydrating.
Move gently.
Expect a feeling of lightness or deep relaxation.
Sauna is not suitable for all medical conditions - please consult your GP if you are:
Pregnant
Unwell or feverish
Experiencing uncontrolled high blood pressure
Recently had certain medical procedures (please ask if unsure)

Each session is intuitive and adapted to your body on the day.
Gina’s approach blends:
Lymph node preparation
Gentle pumping techniques
Sculpting massage
Wood therapy where appropriate
Circulation support
Aftercare Guidance
To support your results:
Increase water intake for 24–48 hours.
Avoid alcohol immediately post-treatment.
Light walking is encouraged.
Gentle dry brushing can support continued flow.
You may notice increased urination or subtle shifts — this is normal.
If you experience tenderness, rest and hydration are your allies.
This work is about refinement, not force.

Mini MUSE & Teen Sessions
Our children’s and teen classes are designed to build confidence, coordination and body awareness in a safe and supportive space.
Please ensure:
Hair is tied back.
Comfortable movement clothing is worn.
Water is brought to class.
Drop-off and collection times are important to maintain the calm rhythm of the studio.
Our Sound Bath experiences are designed to guide you into deep rest, nervous system regulation and subtle energetic reset.
Using crystal singing bowls and layered frequencies, we create an immersive soundscape that encourages the body to soften and the mind to quiet.
You do not need to “do” anything.
Simply lie back, breathe, and receive.
Before You Arrive
Please arrive just 10/15 minutes before the event time. The main studio doors will open 10 minutes before the start ready for you to settle into the space.
We must start at the event time stated, usually 6pm. This means that unfortunately we are unable to let anyone in past the start time so please check travel and location arrangements to allow enough time for your journey. (including any road works that may cause a little delay)
Wear warm, comfortable layers, including cosy socks. Your body temperature can drop during deep relaxation so you may want to choose clothing to suit your comfort example: hooded top
Avoid heavy meals beforehand.
Bring water.
You may wish to bring your own blanket or for added comfort.
Mats, blankets and supportive props are all provided.
During the Session
You may experience:
Deep relaxation
Emotional release
Tingling sensations
Gentle drifting between wake and sleep
All responses are normal. Your body will take what it needs.
Aftercare
Allow yourself time to move slowly afterwards.
Hydrate well.
Journal if you feel called to.
Sound continues to integrate long after the final note fades.
Not Suitable for/check with GP prior if:
You are in the first trimester of pregnancy
You have unmanaged epilepsy triggered by sound
You have severe sound sensitivity

MUSE Sound Bath
Can I combine sauna with another treatment?
Yes. Sauna can be added before or after classes and treatments where appropriate.
Do I need to be fit or flexible to attend?
No. MUSE meets you exactly where you are.
What if I need to cancel?
Please refer to your booking confirmation for cancellation terms.
As a small business, we do not offer refunds so please be certain before booking for an event.
